Red Sea Service Disruption
We would like to advise you of a current security risk affecting cargo vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. This issue is impacting routes that transit the Suez Canal. Several carriers have already indicated an anticipated service disruption in response.

Efforts are underway to implement measures for the protection of commercial vessels, but the process may take some time. Please be assured that we are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you informed of any impact on vessel schedules.

It appears that the majority of vessels will hold position in safer waters, until a suitable solution is found or re-route via the Cape of Good Hope which will increase transit times. 

Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. 

We would also like to prewarn you that operational adjustments which carriers and vessel operators may implement could potentially cause cost increases and this be communicated where applicable.

Vessel ETAs and updated transit times have not yet been published by the lines, please allow an additional 10 – 14 days additional transit time to the original ETA.
